Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for Camrose Home Care. You will be part of an interprofessional team, providing client assessments, safe home-based care, and education to clients and families in their residences.

Reporting to the Care Manager, you will use nursing processes and critical thinking to deliver high-quality care that aligns with standards, policies, and the organization’s vision.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as an LPN.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• Driver's Abstract to be completed with no GDL restrictions and access to a vehicle for work travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and direct care in the client’s home.
• Support emotional wellbeing and provide comfort to the client and family.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet health goals and nursing outcomes.
