Berkshire Care Centre in Windsor, ON is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home for residents. You will perform cleaning, laundry, and related tasks while upholding privacy and dignity in daily routines.

You will follow established policies, assist with resident activities, and report equipment or supply issues to the Environmental Services Manager. This role offers competitive wages and opportunities for personal and professional growth

Formación

• Basic understanding of washer/dryer operations and chemicals used.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
• Ability to work from the heart and make others smile.
• Ability to engage in positive social interactions.
• Clear vulnerable sector screen (no older than 6 months).
• TB test within 6 months.
• Three supervisory references.
• Proof of seasonal Flu shot.

Responsabilidades

• Performs housekeeping tasks including cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing rooms and furnishings.
• Sorts, washes, dries, and folds linen and personal clothing, delivers laundry per policy.
• Respects residents' privacy and maintains dignity; supports resident engagement.
• Prepares room for new occupant and reports supply issues to supervisor.
• Maintains laundry facilities and notifies supervisor of malfunctions.
• Other duties as assigned.
