Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary Long-Term Care residence for residents, visitors, and staff. You will perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, ensuring a comfortable, home-like environment while following our guiding principles of trust, respect, quality, and teamwork.

Salary is $23.64 per hour with placement based on qualifications and experience. Canadian work experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Public-school education or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and offices as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors throughout the facility.
• Operates a floor machine to buff various areas as needed.
• Dusts furniture and equipment and keeps areas orderly.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.
