Job summary

AgeCare in Canada is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary long-term care residence for residents and staff. You will perform a variety of housekeeping duties across dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, and corridors to support a comfortable living environment.

The role involves floor care with mopping, waxing, buffing floors, dusting, arranging furniture, and daily disinfection of sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• A minimum of public-school education is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, and other areas as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors. Operates a floor machine to buff floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.
