Job summary

AgeCare in Kingsville, Ontario, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary Long-Term Care residence for residents, visitors, and staff, supporting a person‑centered environment.

You will clean dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, halls and stairs, dust furniture, polish floors, and disinfect sinks, toilets daily, while arranging spaces for comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• A minimum of public-school education is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, and other areas as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors. Operates a floor machine to buff dining room, bedroom, lounge, corridor, and office floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.
