Job summary

LEE FAMILY in Markham, ON is seeking a Home Health Care Worker for a permanent, full-time position. Duties include in-home care for an elderly client, with on-site work at the client’s home. Hours are 30–35 per week, at $40.00 hourly.

The role requires English language skills, a secondary school diploma or equivalent, and a criminal record check. Optional live-in accommodation is available at no charge but not required.

Qualifications

• Must speak English.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience is an asset.
• Criminal record check.
• Weight handling up to 9 kg (20 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for an elderly person in their home.
• Administer bedside and personal care.
• Assist with bathing and hygiene.
• Assist with daily exercise and mobility.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
