Job summary

Aspira Stonebridge Crossing Retirement Living is hiring a Resident Attendant in Saskatoon, SK. This temporary part-time role supports residents with daily care and activities, emphasizing compassion, safety, and excellent communication.

You will work a biweekly schedule, including evenings and weekends, in a team that prioritizes residents’ dignity and well-being. Training and career growth are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of experience in a similar role.
• Certification in Personal Support Worker or Personal Care Worker, or a 16 hour course recognized by the department.
• Current First Aid/CPR training.
• Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
• Eligible to work in Canada or with a valid work permit.
• Willing to obtain the required course within 3 months if not already held.
• Potential for AI screening at application stage.

Responsibilities

• Answer resident call bells and door alarms promptly.
• Assist with care as outlined in the plan of care and assignments.
• Transport residents to activities, health offices, and dining areas.
• Perform laundry and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain respectful communication with residents and families.
