Job summary

The successful candidate will work under teachers, fostering safety, rapport with students, and adaptive learning environments, including possible personal care and mobility support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with severe behaviour challenges.
• Understanding of neurodiversity (e.g., ASD, ADHD, FASD).
• Willingness to provide personal care and support.
• Ability to implement individualized programs and behavioural strategies.
• Commitment to inclusive education and trauma-informed practice.

Responsibilities

• Support students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 with varying needs.
• Assist with and adapt academic tasks and strategies.
• Attend to physical and medical needs as required.
• Monitor progress and adjust supports as directed by teachers.
