Job summary

Serenity Respite Inc. is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide compassionate care for children and young people aged 2–17.

The role covers after-school care from 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm, with full days on non-school days from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, offering meaningful support and engagement in daily activities. Responsibilities include medication administration as instructed, mobility assistance, meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping, while ensuring confidentiality and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving
• Knowledge of medication procedures
• Physical ability to lift and assist
• Strong communication and caring attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide respite care and support with daily activities
• Administer medications as instructed
• Prepare meals meeting dietary needs
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and G-tubes
