ComForCare Home Care Langley- Surrey is looking for drivers to join our home care family. At ComForCare Home Care we value our employees like family. We celebrate success and have fun. Our focus is to help our clients and employees live their best lives possible.

POSITION SUMMARY
You must have a valid driving license and your own vehicle. You will be required to do transportation of medication to client’s home, picking it up from pharmacies and delivering it to the clients, transportation/ errands to doctor’s appointments, hospital appointments, grocery shopping.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport senior clients to and from hospital appointments.
  • Collect medication from the pharmacy and ensure timely delivery to our clients' homes.
  • Provide courteous and compassionate assistance during transportation, considering the specific needs of elderly clients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the vehicle.
  • Adhere to schedules and ensure punctual arrival and departure for appointments and deliveries.

Qualifications:
  • Be eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Demonstrate ability to read, write, follow written instructions, and document tasks performed.
  • Be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate dependability, tact, patience, and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to show compassion and empathy toward the elderly, sick, and disabled.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor while working with seniors.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Respectful and reliable with a strong commitment to client care and safety.
  • Must possess the necessary Auto Insurance Documents.
An active Class 5 BC Driver's Licence is NEEDED!

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with the local area and knowledge of accessible routes.
  • Previous experience working with seniors or in a similar caregiving role is advantageous.
Working Hours:
  • Part-time or full-time hours available, with flexibility based on client appointments and pharmacy schedules.
