The Ministry of Social Services is seeking a Community Services Worker for the Centre Service Area in the Saskatoon office. You will support and empower citizens to live more independently and participate more fully in their communities, addressing needs related to intellectual disabilities and family supports.

You will manage a caseload, provide assessment and counselling, coordinate referrals, and ensure services align with Saskatchewan policies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or Indian Social Work with related experience.
• Valid driver's license is required for travel.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of clients including assessment, planning, counselling, referral, and follow-up.
• Monitor and resolve case issues with community organizations and approved providers.
• Apply social work methods to restore inclusion and independence for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Supervise new social workers and practicum students as assigned.
