Our SwoopIT Concierge service ensures personalized on-site tech support, while our local Elmvale store offers hands-on assistance and service demonstrations. About the Position:

The Community Sales Representative will assist with in-person event setup and execution, manage customer interactions, and assist with door-to-door activities to drive sales. This role requires a proactive and organised professional who thrives on building relationships, meeting sales goals, and contributing to the community. Flexible scheduling is possible, but evening and weekend availability is required to participate in marketing events across Elmvale, Wyevale, Tiny, and other areas in Simcoe County.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Events

  • Assist with executing SwoopFiber promotional events, sponsorship activities, and pop-up events.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and supplies are organised, professional, and ready for seamless execution for door-to-door and events.
  • Actively participate in local events, such as the Elmvale Farmers' Market and town hall meetings (e.g., Wyevale, Tiny), to drive brand awareness and foster community engagement.
  • Oversee event setup and teardown of in-person events.
  • Manage merchandise inventory tracker.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, charities, and property management companies to explore sales and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Interact with community members to promote SwoopFiber, address inquiries, and enhance brand visibility and trust.
  • Maintain accurate sales trackers and provide regular updates to the supervisor.
  • Support marketing activities, including signage placement and merchandise organization.
  • Lift and transport marketing materials and merchandise (up to 50 lbs) as needed.

Sales & Customer Service

  • Conduct door-to-door sales in Simcoe County and nearby areas (e.g., Springwater, Wasaga Beach).
  • Inform potential customers about SwoopFiber’s products and services, tailoring solutions to their needs.
  • Convert leads into sales and meet/exceed sales targets.

StoreFront Support

  • Provide occasional storefront backup coverage for the reception.
  • Answer incoming customer calls and inquiries via the Customer Service Line.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional storefront environment.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and take on new challenges as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in sales, customer service, or marketing. Previous door-to-door sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter who can effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Passion for engaging with and contributing to local communities.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends for marketing events.
  • A valid driver’s license is required. The role involves driving to various locations within Simcoe County. A company car or mileage reimbursement will be provided. Alternatively, a vehicle allowance will be offered if the applicant uses their vehicle.
  • This role requires frequent travel throughout Springwater, Simcoe County, and the GTA.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Comfortable lifting and transporting boxes (up to 50 lbs) containing marketing materials and merchandise.
