Vancouver Island Health Authority is seeking a Community Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide assessment and treatment across CHS clients in Duncan, BC. The role includes home visits and in-hospital discharge consults, working within an inter-disciplinary team.

Travel between sites is a regular requirement, with a day shift schedule. The position requires CSRT certification, CRE, CPR Level C, and at least 3 years of respiratory care experience, plus a BC driver’s license and professional

Formación

• Graduate of a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
• CSRT certification and CRE with COPD/asthma education.
• Current CPR Level C / BLS HCP certification.
• 3 years of respiratory care experience in varied settings.
• Knowledge of pulmonary rehab and home care services.
• Valid BC driver's license and professional membership.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory therapy assessment and treatment to CHS clients.
• Identify potential clients for program admission and liaise with CHS physicians.
• Plan and carry out client treatment programs, including home visits.
• Offer in-hospital discharge consultation and act as a resource for CHS staff.
• Contribute to policy development and quality improvement initiatives.
