Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a dedicated professional to coordinate community relations and shelter services. You will build partnerships, support housing access, and help deliver social programming for clients in need.

Responsibilities include organizing volunteer programs, assisting with ODSP referrals, and ensuring health and safety standards are met across the shelter operations. A Diploma in Human Services is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Human Services or related degree required.
• Experience with homelessness or community development preferred.
• Ontario Class G driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Support community relations and partnerships for shelter programs.
• Assist with housing supports, identification documents and ODSP referrals.
• Develop and implement volunteer and student placement programs.
• Contribute to health, safety, and organizational procedures.
