Job summary

Oxford County in Ontario is seeking a Community Planning Analyst to coordinate data collection, tracking, reporting, monitoring and analysis for the County’s Human Services department and related programs.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Integrated Services, you will work across Child Care and Early Years, Ontario Works, Employment, Homelessness and Housing, bringing strong analytical and communication skills to inform planning and engagement with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in social services, business, data analytics or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
• Demonstrated ability to participate in or facilitate community based engagement sessions, conduct research, report writing and delivering presentations.
• Strong skills in qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation methodologies.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to convert data into practical and relatable narrative to use on a regular basis.
• Demonstrated experience with community development and planning.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Ministry-funded programs.
• Ability to demonstrate the required competencies for this position in alignment with Oxford County’s competency framework.
• Experience in the use of computer databases/software applications, including SQL-based tools and/or geographic information systems (e.g., ArcGIS or similar mapping software) is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:
