Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Burnaby, BC is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a full-time, on-site position. You will safely dispense prescriptions, verify orders, and counsel patients on usage, interactions, and side effects.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body in British Columbia (or eligibility for licensure).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and health care providers.
• Strong clinical knowledge of medications, therapeutics, and patient counseling practices.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and apply professional judgment in complex cases.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and dispensing software.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in community or retail pharmacy is an asset.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Certifications (e.g., vaccines, CPR/First Aid) are required.

Responsibilities
