We are seeking casual PSWs or Caregivers for community clients across Simcoe County. Ideal candidates should have access to a vehicle and be comfortable driving clients for errands, appointments, etc. Flexible scheduling is available; open availability is an asset.

Job Benefits:

• Pay starting at $19-$21 depending on experience
• Benefits plan available after working 30+ hours per week
• 4% vacation pay on every pay
• Flexible hours

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and personal care, including eating, dressing, transferring, toileting, hygiene, grooming, and bathing, as per client’s care plan
• Driving clients to outings, appointments, and errands
• Supporting clients with physiotherapy exercises
• Preparing meals and light housekeeping as needed
• Providing medication support and management
• Offering cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
• Maintaining open communication with clients and their families
• Monitoring and updating care plans with detailed documentation
• Responding to emergency situations
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• PSW certification from a public college or learning centre; additional NACC certification is preferred
• Caregiver, HSW, or PSW experience is required
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• Satisfactory professional references
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Good judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
