The RISEC Community Foundation is seeking a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator for the RYLE Awards program. This volunteer position involves engaging with newcomer communities and promoting scholarships for youth. You'll gain valuable leadership experience, network with key stakeholders, and contribute directly to uplifting newcomer youth in Calgary.
Position Title: Community Outreach Coordinator, RISEC Youth Leadership and Excellence Awards (RYLE Awards)

Location: Remote/Hybrid (Based in Canada)
Minimum Hours per Week: 5 hours
Term of Volunteer: 6 months, auto-renews unless RISEC management decides not to renew.
Reports To: Program Manager
About the Program:
The RISEC Youth Leadership and Excellence Awards (RYLE Awards) is a program that recognizes and awards young newcomers who are excelling academically, in the community, or in sports. The program aims to identify and celebrate top newcomer performers, initially in Calgary, Alberta, with plans to expand across Canada. In 2025, the goal is to recognize up to 30 individuals with a minimum of $1,000 scholarship each.
