How You Will Make an Impact

In this role, you will work to make a difference in the lives of tenants living at all on-site locations: Emmaus Place, Mathias Place and McGinty House.

  • Provide tenants with primary case management and community resources
  • Services to tenants include assessment & planning
  • Provide crisis prevention and intervention and supportive counseling
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Good Shepherd mission values of Hospitality, Responsibility, Availability, Adaptability, Quality and Dignity
  • Responsible for participating in Good Shepherd\'s Health and Safety programs, procedures, procedures and work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations to minimize risk to clients, staff and others as well as to the property of the Good Shepherd
What You\'ll Bring to Our Team
  • A post-secondary education in social or health services
  • A minimum of three years\' experience in mental health, and concurrent disorders is required
  • Recovery orientation and consumer driven style of practice is essential
  • Possess the ability to work independently and think creatively
  • Ability to speak French and/or other languages considered an asset
  • CPR certification or willingness to be certified is required
  • Committed to anti-racist/anti-oppressive practice and to the mission and values of Good Shepherd
  • Observe all health and safety rules and work in compliance with the provisions of the occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations
