An established organization is seeking a passionate individual to create a welcoming environment for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves organizing community initiatives and fundraising events in collaboration with various stakeholders. The position requires a commitment of 5 hours per week over a 12-month term, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community while gaining valuable experience. Work to create an accepting and welcoming environment for individuals who live with intellectual and developmental disabilities in partnership with Community Living Kingston and District. Organize volunteering initiatives within the community and awareness initiatives within Queen’s to make a tangible and exciting difference. Co-chairs develop and help run fundraising events to support Community Living Kingston and District. Work closely with your Co-Chair, the Community Outreach Deputy Commissioners, and the Community Outreach Commissioner to make a tangible and lasting impact in the Queen’s community.

12-month term from May 1st, 2025 to April 30th, 2026 with a time commitment of 5 hours/week.
