A healthcare organization in British Columbia is looking for a Community Health Worker II to provide essential home support services. This role involves aiding clients with daily living activities and ensuring their well-being. Ideal candidates will have graduated from a relevant program and hold valid registration with the BC Care Aide Registry. In accordance with the organization’s vision, values, and strategic direction, the Community Health Worker II, as part of an interprofessional health care team and under the supervision of the Team Lead or designated clinical leader, provides home support services to clients based on a pre-established care plan. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and meal preparation, while promoting maximum independence. The role also involves performing delegated tasks for which proper training has been completed. A key component of this job is to ensure the well-being of individuals and families and to promote independent living within the community.
Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, 07:30 to 16:00, 13:00 to 21:30 (Rotating)
