A community health organization is seeking a Community Health Nurse Supervisor in Southwestern Ontario. The role involves supervising a health promotion team and providing essential nursing services, focusing on community health and disease prevention. Candidates should be registered nurses with relevant qualifications and a commitment to community health initiatives. Applications are encouraged from diverse candidates.
The Community Health Nurse Supervisor (CHNS) supervises the Health Promotion Team and provides a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services including community/public health, health promotion, and disease prevention. Service is provided to families, groups, individuals, and to the Neyaashiinigmiing community as a whole. Health promotion, client advocacy, disease and injury prevention are the main goals of the CHNS. Support is also provided to those with curative, urgent, and emergent needs.
Qualifications:
Equivalencies that include a combination of education and experience may be considered.
