Are you a dedicated healthcare professional passionate about community wellness? We're seeking an enthusiastic Community Health Nurse to play a pivotal role in delivering essential health services and programs. Whati is a small northern town servicing approximately 500 residents. The Health Centre is the sole medical facility in the community.
In this role, you will lead a range of comprehensive health programs, including Well-Child/Woman/Man clinics, pre and post-natal care, school health initiatives, and chronic disease management. You will be instrumental in running immunization programs and monitoring communicable diseases, ensuring the community's health and safety. Your expertise will be critical in providing personalized nursing care and managing medical functions such as dispensing medications, all while adhering to high professional standards.
Minimum Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have the successful completion of a Nursing Degree, AND two (2) years of recent nursing experience in an emergency or critical care setting. Northern or Outpost Nursing would be an asset.
