Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator

Charity People are partnering with All People All Places (APAP) in their search for a new Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator. This is a newly created role that will focus on building relationships within the local community to generate income and increase engagement.

All People All Places is a small homelessness charity working across Enfield and Haringey, providing services such as a day centre, advocacy, casework, and a night shelter. They collaborate closely with local agencies and serve as a trusted gateway for those facing homelessness. This role is vital for expanding their reach and impact through community support.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven organization addressing homelessness locally. You will lead community fundraising and engagement efforts, working with schools, faith groups, local businesses, and individuals to inspire support and run impactful campaigns.

The Role

  • Salary: £34,000-£38,000 FTE (£20,400-£30,400 actual)
  • Part-time: 3 or 4 days per week (0.6-0.8 FTE)
  • Location: Hybrid (home, office, local communities of Edmonton, Enfield)
  • Contract: 12-month fixed-term with potential for extension
  • 26 days (pro-rata) annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Wellbeing fund for hobbies or self-care
  • Training and development budget
  • Cycle to work scheme and travel card loan
  • 5% employer pension contribution

This role will be central to community fundraising efforts, including building relationships, coordinating events, and delivering campaigns to raise awareness and income. You will also develop APAP's annual fundraising campaign and support rebranding and communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with community groups, schools, and local businesses.
  • Lead community fundraising activities, events, and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute APAP's annual fundraising campaign.
  • Create engaging content to showcase impact.
  • Steward donors and fundraisers professionally and warmly.
  • Lead organizational communications and develop targeted messaging.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align fundraising with strategic goals.
  • Create resources for different audiences.
  • Implement and monitor supporter journey processes.

Top 3 Priorities for the First 6 Months

  • Develop and implement a refreshed annual fundraising campaign.
  • Build a network of community supporters and partners.
  • Integrate new branding and messaging into engagement and communications.

About You

We seek someone with proven experience in community fundraising and engagement, capable of building trusted relationships across diverse groups and communicating effectively with warmth. You should manage multiple priorities independently, bringing creativity and energy to campaigns. Familiarity with Canva or similar tools and fundraising regulations is a plus or willingness to learn.
