Job description

We are looking for Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDA) who have a passion for working with children and can provide support to our Speech Language Pathologists within our speech clinic and community. We are currently hiring a full-time union position in Owen Sound and the surrounding areas.

Skills needed for success :

  • Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) graduate certificate is required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of direct CDA experience.
  • Previous experience in Pediatric settings is preferred.
  • Member of the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association (CDAAC) is considered an asset.
  • You are a highly energetic and enthusiastic individual who loves to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask conflicting priorities.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must have a current valid G2 / G driving license and access to a reliable insured vehicle.
