Job description

The Communications Specialist for the Care-First Program will play a pivotal role in enhancing the communication strategies within the public sector. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and experience in insurance transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to promote and develop effective messaging around the Care-First Program ensuring that it meets the needs of stakeholders and the communities served. Through proactive outreach and a keen eye for detail the Communications Specialist will help elevate the programs visibility and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication plans that align with the goals of the Care-First Program.
  • Craft compelling content for various communication channels including press releases newsletters and social media.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback to inform communication strategies.
  • Conduct copy editing and visual design work to ensure high-quality communication materials.
  • Organize and participate in outreach activities to promote the Care-First Program.
  • Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness to optimize ongoing strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in communications or a related field.
  • Bachelors degree in Communications Business Administration or a related field.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in insurance transformation preferred.
