The Corporate Communications department is a dynamic team of professionals managing public relations, media relations, issues management, crisis communications, special events and internal communications. While this is a hybrid position and you may work from home or the office, you will be expected to be in person at certain meetings, corporate events, team gatherings and other key engagements, whether at the head office in Edmonton or at event locations around the province.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Reporting to the manager, Corporate Communications, the communications officer leads the development and implementation of communication strategies with a focus on employee-focused communications, media/public relations, issues and crisis management and special events in line with Alberta Blue Cross's vision, strategy and values.
