Tasks:

  1. Analyze market research data to improve business decisions or activities
  2. Assist in product development
  3. Conduct economic or commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products or services
  4. Develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes
  5. Develop communication strategies
  6. Direct the marketing strategies of establishments
  7. Direct the team on crucial information they should gather and research
  8. Establish distribution networks for products and services
  9. Evaluate an organization's Internet presence
  10. Evaluate communication strategies and programs
  11. Evaluate the marketing strategies used by establishments
  12. Implement communication strategies and programs
  13. Oversee the preparation of written material for website content
  14. Review written material, such as reports, briefs, speeches, presentations and press releases
  15. Develop promotional materials
  16. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff
  17. Manage contracts
  18. Plan and control budget and expenditures
  19. Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials
  20. Answer written and oral inquiries
  21. Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material
  22. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
  23. Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
  24. Initiate and maintain contact with the media
  25. Copywrite
  26. Supervise office and volunteer staff

Supervision: 3-4 people
