Job summary

CBC/Radio-Canada in Montreal is seeking a Communications Officer for English Services in a permanent, full-time hybrid role. You will report to the Senior Manager for the Atlantic region and Quebec and work with a team to support CBC’s programming across English-speaking Quebec and the Atlantic region.

The role requires strong writing, editing and proofreading abilities, experience with brand campaigns, and the ability to travel for community events while collaborating with editors and partners.

Qualifications

• Three years or more of relevant experience with superior writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Knowledge of communications/marketing materials and ability to work under deadline pressures.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Advance strategic objectives to grow CBC’s connections with younger, diverse audiences.
• Develop, implement and report on integrated marketing campaigns across platforms.
• Coordinate sponsorships, partnerships and community engagement events in person and virtually.
