Job summary

CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking an Accounting Officer (Finance) to join the Media Solutions finance team in a hybrid/telework arrangement in Montreal. The role focuses on month-end entries, billing support, and coordinating with sales and internal departments.

Required are a business administration degree with accounting/finance focus, strong organizational and analytical skills, and fluency in French. English is an asset; two-step screening includes an Excel test and interview.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or DEC in Business Administration with related experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience in accounting, month-end entries, and billing support is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and attention to detail.
• Fluency in French written and spoken; English knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Enter, process, and interpret financial data for departmental operations.
• Provide administrative support to internal and external clients (including billing).
• Interpret financial policies and advise managers on resolving issues in financial data processing.
• Prepare and verify monthly month-end accounting entries.
• Update payment tracking and contact external partners if necessary.
• Collaborate with the sales department and other internal teams.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
