Bilingual Junior Sales Trader - Environmental Commodities
Job Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual Junior Sales Trader with expertise in Environmental Commodities. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and a background in agriculture or related fields.

Qualifications
  • Bi-lingual: French and English language skills
  • Education: Degree in Agriculture, Commerce, or a related field
  • Experience: 5+ years in Sales, Trading, Merchandising, or Supply for Grains and Specialty Crops (including peas, corn, etc.)
  • Industry Experience: Familiarity with Quebec and Eastern Ontario regions for crop acquisition and product sales & distribution both domestically and globally
  • Skills: Competence in negotiation, closing deals, preparing contracts, risk management and analysis, forecasting, and monitoring market trends
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to establish and grow relationships with suppliers and consumers for business success
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Programs
  • Work Style: Ability to work well independently and within a small business unit
