Job Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual Junior Sales Trader with expertise in Environmental Commodities. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and a background in agriculture or related fields.

Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual : French and English language skills
  • Education : Degree in Agriculture, Commerce, or a related field
  • Experience : 5+ years in Sales, Trading, Merchandising, or Supply for Grains and Specialty Crops (including peas, corn, etc.)
  • Industry Experience : Familiarity with Quebec and Eastern Ontario regions for crop acquisition and product sales & distribution both domestically and globally
  • Skills : Competence in negotiation, closing deals, preparing contracts, risk management and analysis, forecasting, and monitoring market trends
  • Interpersonal Skills : Ability to establish and grow relationships with suppliers and consumers for business success
  • Computer Proficiency : Proficient in MS Office Programs
  • Work Style : Ability to work well independently and within a small business unit
