Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior supplier management professional in Canada to lead strategic relationships for hyperscale hardware and manage risk across the supply chain. The role requires extensive experience in vendor management, contracts, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities include driving lead time reductions, coordinating with engineering and finance, and enabling on-time delivery for complex data center components. Strong communication with senior leaders is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years in commodity management or supply chain in high-volume manufacturing or technology.
  • Minimum 7 years direct vendor or supplier management, including contract negotiation and performance management.
  • Minimum 3 years interpreting and acting on complex supply and demand planning reports and data.

  • Own and manage strategic supplier relationships for servers, storage, and networking components at hyperscale volume.
  • Interpret complex demand and supply reports to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities across the supply chain.
  • Drive supply improvements including lead time reduction, capacity expansion, and on-time delivery (OTD) performance improvements across assigned commodity portfolio.
  • Synthesize supply health and risk posture into clear, concise, decision-ready status updates for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Navigate conflict and competing priorities across internal teams (engineering, planning, finance) and external partners.
  • Collaborate with ODMs, component suppliers, and logistics teams to resolve supply constraints and elevate gating components.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics, capacity commitments, and delivery schedules.
  • Develop and execute recovery plans to address supply disruptions and shortfalls against build plans.
  • Support NPI (New Product Introduction) programs with commodity supply strategy and readiness assessments.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret complex demand and supply reports to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities across the supply chain.

  • Drive supply improvements including lead time reduction, capacity expansion, and on-time delivery (OTD) performance improvements across assigned commodity portfolio.

  • Synthesize supply health and risk posture into clear, concise, decision-ready status updates for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commodity management, supply chain management, or a related field within a high-volume manufacturing or technology environment.

  • Minimum of 7 years of direct vendor or supplier management experience, including contract negotiation and performance management.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience interpreting and acting on complex supply and demand planning reports and data.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in commodity or supply chain management in hyperscale data center, cloud infrastructure, or high-tech hardware environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in Aerospace or Automotive industries with demonstrated commodity management at large scale.

  • Proven track record of driving OTD improvements, lead time reductions, and capacity expansion with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.

  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills with experience preparing supply risk briefings for senior leadership.

  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics tools.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with NPI, logistics, engineering, and finance teams.

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders acrossCanada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the commonlanguage. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speakingstakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company'sactivities to avoid this requirement.

role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
