ALSTOM Gruppe is seeking a full-time Buyer in Toronto, responsible for managing procurement strategies and collaborating with engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, experience in procurement, and strong analytical skills. Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your Procurement expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll report to our Procurement Project Manager in Toronto, ON, and collaborate with strong analytical and team-oriented colleagues.
You will develop and implement the Procurement strategy to ensure optimal cost productivity. Daily, you’ll work closely with teams across Engineering, Project, Bid, and Technical Managers, as well as various stakeholders, to prepare tender procurement commitments and more.
You’ll specifically manage the collection and formalization of Return of Experience on projects deployed in the region, challenge commodity buyers and managers to increase competitiveness, and ensure convergence of commodity strategies with tenders.
