We are recruiting exceptional candidates to join our mission of becoming a fully certified Asset Management engineering services provider, offering consultancy and integrated projects across future global low carbon energy and infrastructure markets.
The Plant Performance and Operations team within our Asset Management business area provides support services to the Nuclear & Defence, Process & Energy, Power Generation, and Oil & Gas sectors throughout their asset lifecycle. We have an opening for a C&I Commissioning Engineer to join the site commissioning team on a hydrogen generation project at Methil in Fife. The position is for an approximate six-month period.
The role reports directly to the Site Commissioning Manager and the delegated Lead C&I Engineer.
The C&I Commissioning Engineer, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, will be responsible for the following activities as part of the commissioning execution:
The ideal candidate should have an HNC in Control and Instrumentation Engineering or significant relevant experience in control and instrumentation commissioning within the energy, process, or hydrocarbon industries. The position requires in-depth knowledge of instrumentation installation checks, calibration, loop checking, controls tuning, and familiarity with multiple HMI formats and communication protocols.
CompEx (Ex01-Ex04) certification would be advantageous. Experience in the C&I commissioning of the following equipment is desirable:
