Aecon is seeking a Commissioning Coordinator Co-op for the Darlington New Nuclear Project. The role involves assisting in commissioning preparation, procedure writing, and supporting various administrative tasks while collaborating with construction teams. Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in engineering and possess strong communication skills.
As part of an alliance agreement, Aecon has been awarded a contract to construct a nuclear facility which utilizes the GEH BWRX-300 reactor technology. The project is known as OPG’s Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP). The project is located on the DNNP site in the Municipality of Clarington, in the Regional Municipality of Durham.
As part of the Site Establishment team, the Commissioning Coordinator Co-op will report to the Testing and Turnover Manager and will assist in management of commissioning preparation, including procedure writing, care and preservation, implementation of digital tool, estimation of budget, etc.
This role will require continuous communication with all project team members and will provide supports to team members on various administrative tasks.
