Salas O'Brien, Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Agent to join our VSC Group on remote Alberta projects.

You will provide commissioning services that combine off-site development work with on-site verification, emphasizing quality and hands-on field work. You will work with cloud-based commissioning technology, develop test procedures, attend and chair meetings, and report progress to clients and contractors.

Vertical Start-Up Commissioning Group (VSC) is dedicated to improving facility and system start-ups through effective commissioning practices.

Job Summary

Working on our commissioning team as a Commissioning Agent, you will be providing commissioning services to our clients which include both off-site development work and on-site physical verification services. In This Role, You Will

• Work with the latest cloud-based commissioning technology and software.
• Develop detailed functional performance test procedures.
• Attend commissioning and related meetings, chair meetings, and taking minutes.

Required Skills/abilities

• Completion of an Electrical Engineering degree / Technologist or Technician diploma/degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning and project management experience.
• Computer literacy with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Project.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Travel throughout Alberta to perform commissioning services will be required.

Location: Remote, Alberta, Canada

Travel: Frequent travel is required.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00
