Responsibilities of a Meat Clerk:

• Prepare, arrange, and display various products on displays and refrigerated counters according to Super C standards and requirements
• Apply merchandising standards (product rotation, expiry date tracking, packaging as needed, etc.) and stock management
• Know and apply sanitation standards: hygiene, cleanliness, health, and safety within the department
• Respond efficiently and courteously to customer needs and inquiries
• Apply standards for layout and maintenance of refrigerators in the back of the store
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and machinery of the department
• Assist in maintaining customer service in the store
• Perform any other related tasks as directed by immediate supervisor

Requirements:

• 0-6 months of experience in a similar position
• Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts

Desired Skills:

• Courteous and polite attitude at all times
• Ability to pull, push, lift, and handle merchandise
• Ability to work in a cold environment
• Know and apply health and safety standards at all times
