Northbridge Insurance is seeking an Underwriting Specialist for Commercial Construction & Manufacturing (New Business). The role focuses on underwriting and servicing complex accounts within established guidelines, while building strong broker relationships and supporting team development.

With a collaborative team approach, you will mentor juniors, pursue CIP/FCIP growth, and contribute to a flexible hybrid work model and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial underwriting, especially Construction & Manufacturing (New Business).
• Strong customer service background and relationship building with brokers/customers.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor junior underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and service increasingly complex accounts per guidelines and objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers and customers; respond promptly to emails and calls.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues and grow appetite for complex risks.
