Position Overview:

As a Commercial Truck Sales Representative, you will be the key point of contact for customers seeking high-quality commercial trucks and services. Your role will involve building strong relationships with both new and existing clients, identifying their needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet those needs. With your in-depth product knowledge and passion for sales, you will drive revenue growth and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their business needs and recommending the best solutions
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Present and demonstrate commercial truck models and features to potential customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales
  • Collaborate with the parts, service, and finance teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, including follow-ups and troubleshooting, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and new products
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and leads in the CRM system
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote the dealership's products and services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial truck sales or a related field
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close sales, and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of commercial truck products and features
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
