Kal Tire on Yellowhead Trail in Edmonton, AB, is seeking a hands-on technician to service large commercial tires in the shop and at customer sites. This full-time role offers practical training, career growth, and a chance to eventually operate your own service truck.

You will gain real-world experience with tire inspections, maintenance, and on-site fleet support in a safety-focused team, with on-call shifts including nights and weekends as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial tire installation, repair, and maintenance is a plus.
• Hold a valid driver’s license for on-site service.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Demonstrating a safety-first mindset and PPE compliance.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspections and maintenance, including inflations, tread wear, and overall tire condition to ensure safety and performance.
• Communicate services performed and provide insights/recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
• Deliver professional fleet, roadside, and off-site tire services for commercial vehicles, minimizing downtime.
• Adhere to Kal Tire’s safety protocols and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.

Join our Yellowhead Trail, Edmonton, AB. team in a hands-on role working with large commercial tires both in the shop and at customer locations. You'll receive practical training, develop valuable skills, and have the chance to grow into a role operating your own service truck.

• Perform inspections and maintenance, including checking inflation, tread wear, and overall condition to ensure tire safety, efficiency, and performance
• Communicate services performed by providing insights and recommendations for repairs and maintenance to improve vehicle performance
• Deliver professional fleet, roadside, and off-site tire services for commercial vehicles, minimizing downtime with fast and efficient support
• Adhere to Kal Tire’s safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial tire installation, repair, and maintenance is considered an asset but not required
• Hold a valid driver’s license for on-site service and roadside assistance tasks
• Excelling in a physically demanding environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs to shoulder height and perform tasks efficiently
• Demonstrating a safety-first mindset by adhering to all safety protocols, wearing required PPE, and promoting a secure workplace culture
• Possessing strong technical skills and a proactive approach to solving tire and equipment challenges
