Job summary

Kal Tire in Whitecourt is hiring a Commercial Tire Technician to service large commercial tires in-shop and at customer sites. This full-time role offers hands-on training and a pathway to operating your own service truck, with overtime and on-call shifts available.

You will gain valuable experience in a safety-focused team environment while supporting customers off-site and in the shop. A valid driver’s license is required and the position emphasizes safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial tire installation, repair, and maintenance is an asset but not required.
• Valid driver's license for on-site service and roadside assistance tasks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Demonstrates safety-first mindset and adheres to PPE and safety protocols.
• Strong technical skills and proactive approach to tire and equipment challenges.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain tires: check inflation, tread wear, and overall condition for safety and performance.
• Explain services performed and provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance to improve vehicle performance.
• Provide professional fleet, roadside, and off-site tire services to minimize downtime.
• Follow Kal Tire's safety protocols and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
