Join Our Team as a Commercial Specialist at Epiroc!

Your Mission:

As the Commercial Specialist you will be responsible for daily operational pricing and strategic pricing that will help improve our overall efficiency, productivity and ultimately increase our ability to assist in our customer’s success.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for collaborating with Global Strategic Team and Pricing team to maintain Global Price List, ensuring that Price Lists are updated, work and communicate with your customer/partner counterparts.
  • Support the Customer Care Manager with administrative duties relating to end customer pricing reviews, system adjustments, total spend analysis, monthly customer updates….
  • Interact with the Global Pricing and Marketing Support team to align shared system pricing data and fix discrepancies.
  • Analyze and take appropriate actions on price trend, currency effect and market trends affecting the profitability and competitiveness of pricing.
  • Responsible for reporting/analyzing price compliance and working with Sales team to take any actions to be compliant.
  • Drive improvement activities to assure profitable and competitive pricing in the local market.
  • Follow competition trends and competitor actions within the area of regional responsibility.
  • Facilitate and drive change management activities in close collaboration with divisional and local stakeholders with the objective to support and improve price performance.
  • Collaborate and openly share business requirements and information with relevant internal stakeholders. Assure to have transparent and continuous dialogue specifically with the
  • Pricing team members, Product Managers and Business Development Manager teams.
  • Grow general technical and business knowledge to contribute to the overall success of the Business Line.
  • Actively & continuously strive to improve our practices and efficiencies.
  • Participate in projects and customer support initiatives as appropriate
  • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor and communication with customers and internal staff at all times
  • Participate in employee development programs including product and application training, business and personal development opportunities.

Your profile:

  • Demonstrated experience & abilities in the relevant subjects.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications such Word, Excel, Outlook are an asset
  • Proficiency in databases such as Python or other for processing huge volumes of data
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and highly organized
  • Demonstrated skills in working with sophisticated ERP systems such as SAP, M3, etc.
  • Experience working in Price management systems such as Pricepoint/Syncron is an advantage
  • Fluent English is essential; bilingual in French Canadian would be an advantage.
  • University degree in relevant field, e.g., Business, Economics or Engineering, or acquired similar competence through experience would be an asset
  • Very strong analytical capabilities with a proven business acumen and customer orientation
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with the advanced functions of Excel.
  • Efficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Combined commercial and technical interests with aptitude to stay informed.
  • Self-motivated and well-organized working profile.
  • Show creativity and have a problem solver attitude.
