The North West Company is seeking a Commercial Sales Coordinator to streamline quoting and ordering processes and support the sales team. The role focuses on admin tasks, purchase orders, invoicing, and coordinating logistics to ensure timely, accurate transactions.

Based in Winnipeg, you will interact with multiple vendors, manage documentation, and contribute to a collaborative culture within a growing retail organization offering competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Degree preferred, but not required.
  • A minimum of 3 years administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent time management, multitasking and organizational capabilities.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to and preparing quote requests from Northern Stores or customers, including freight to specified locations.
  • Sourcing products from multiple suppliers for quotes.
  • Creating purchase orders and shipping labels for direct vendor shipments to communities.
  • Creating Retek PO numbers and warehouse requisition requests.
  • Coordinating with the transportation division to decide on logistics for each quotation.
  • Processing approved sales for monthly recording and quarterly review with Inventory management.
  • Generating invoices to be distributed to sales representatives and customers.
  • Creating and distributing documents including agendas, correspondence, emails and meeting minutes.

In your role as a Commercial Sales Coordinator for The North West Company (NWC), you are responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administration activities to streamline the quoting and ordering processes. You will provide support to t he sales team and ensure the smooth execution of sales operations within a company .

Your Role
  • Responsible for responding and preparing quote requests sent in by Northern Stores and or directly by customers including freight directly to specified locations.

  • Processing approved sales to be captured on a monthly basis, review with Inventory management quarterly.
  • Generating invoices to be distributed back to sales representatives for furtherance to customers
  • Creating Marketing requests for seasonal promotional programs.
  • Create and distribute a variety of documents including agendas, correspondence, emails and meeting minutes.
