Commercial Sales Account Manager – Western Canada
Location: (Edmonton or Calgary based)
Position Summary
AMECO is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Sales Account Manager to help expand our footprint across Western Canada. This opportunity offers a chance to develop and maintain strategic relationships and deliver solutions that support key industries, positioning you as a trusted advisor to clients operating in construction, infrastructure, energy and industrial sectors.
Reporting to the Vice President North America Commercial Strategy, this position is ideal for a driven sales professional with a strong background in industrial construction and equipment solutions and a proven ability to generate business through consultative sales approaches. You’ll deliver value-driven solutions, building strategic partnerships and enabling collaboration across industries. As a Commercial Sales Account Manager you will provide personalized solutions tailored to each customer’s equipment, scaffolding, tooling and consumable needs. You’ll support a diverse client base across thevarious industrial construction sectors.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prospect and build long-term relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities where AMECO can deliver exceptional value
- Act as a strategic consultant by understanding client operations and providing tailored solutions that align with their business objectives
- Deliver in-person and virtual presentations that clearly communicate AMECO’s full range of equipment and integrated services
- Create competitive proposals and manage the end-to-end sales process, from qualification through negotiation and closing
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to proactively position AMECO for growth
- Maintain CRM records, pipeline tracking, and forecasting with attention to accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless client service delivery
- Attend industry events and trade shows as a brand ambassador for AMECO in the Canadian market
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in equipment rental, industrial services, or construction sectors
- A proven ability to develop new business and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility, and respond effectively to stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis, quoting, and presentation development
- SAP experience would be a definite plus, particularly SAP Business one
- Essential to juggle multiple time-sensitive priorities, while delivering quality support to customers in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and Willingness to travel throughout Canada and the USA.
- Must be able to work well within a team environment
- Relevant post-secondary education in a related field is preferred
- A Valid Class 5 drivers License and provide a current 3-year drivers abstract
