Job summary

Tremco CPG Inc. in Victoria invites experienced Commercial Roofing Technicians to join Weatherproofing Technologies Canada’s service team.

You will install low-slope roofing systems, conduct inspections, and help maintain high safety standards on projects across the Victoria region. The role requires 2+ years of flat/low-slope roofing experience, ability to work at heights, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel 25–35%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of commercial roofing experience, focusing on flat or low-slope systems.
• Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%-35% within the region and work flexible hours during peak seasons.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (truck is an asset).

Key Responsibilities

• Roofing System Installation Under the direction of a Foreman, install a variety of low-slope roofing systems, including BUR, EPDM, single-ply membranes, coatings, and safety systems. Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.
• Inspections & Maintenance Conduct routine quality assurance (QA) and maintenance inspections using diagnostic tools and equipment. Identify issues, document findings, and communicate recommendations to ensure systems are functioning effectively.
• Safety & Compliance Operate tools and equipment safely, adhering to company policies and provincial safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of commercial roofing experience, with a focus on flat or low-slope systems (steep-slope experience also considered).
• Ability to work at heights and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%-35% within the region and work flexible hours during peak seasons.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (truck is an asset).

Compensation

• Hourly rate typically ranges from $29.00 to $44.00, based on experience, skills, internal equity, and market alignment.
