Job summary

Flynn Group in Kelowna, BC is seeking a Roofer to install, repair, or replace four and/or single-ply commercial roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials on industrial, institutional and commercial buildings.

You will work with materials such as TPO, EPDM, and PVC, install vapor barriers and insulation, and help prepare roofs with roofing paper; the role includes paid apprenticeship training and access to Flynn University.

Responsibilities

Install or replace a variety of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, and PVC
Install vapor barriers and/or layers of insulation on the roof decks of flat roofs and seal the seams
Cut roofing paper to size using knives; and nail or staple roofing paper to roofs in overlapping strips to form bases for other materials
