We are seeking a dynamic and high-performing commercial real estate appraiser to join our dynamic team as a Senior Consultant or Director. What You'll Do

As a contributing member of the Professional Services team, you will work closely with the Vice-President - Professional Services, Senior Managing Director, Managers and the Real Property Team to support our company's vision, strategic priorities and initiatives. The successful candidate will be located in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, or Winnipeg and will travel regionally and locally. Your work will involve :

  • Site Inspections : Travel to various locations to gather detailed information, measurements, and photographs.
  • Research and Analysis : Conduct thorough research and expert analysis to develop solid, defensible value estimates.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with colleagues to ensure accurate and reliable appraisals.
  • Training and Quality Control : Mentor junior staff and perform quality control reviews to maintain high standards.

This role offers variety and exciting travel opportunities, with approximately 30-40% regional and national travel required, and occasional global travel. You'll have the chance to explore new places and various industries while contributing to our success.

What We're Looking For

You're proactive, results-driven, and goal-oriented. You thrive both independently and as part of a team. You're client-focused, committed to building relationships, and dedicated to delivering high levels of service in line with our brand promise. You possess strong leadership skills, enjoy mentoring others, and excel at managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Your research and analysis skills are top-notch, and you're proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and databases. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel locally and regionally are essential.

Your Credentials

  • Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) designation and member in good standing or close to obtaining AACI designation;
  • 5 - 10 years' CRE valuation experience;
  • Experience with appraisal report writing, depreciation report writing, property inspections, and / or onsite data collection; and
  • A combination of education, designation and experience may be considered.
