About the opportunity

The Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of mixed-use commercial construction. Working closely with the Senior PM and mid-level PMs, this role focuses on document control, scope tracking, and stakeholder coordination as the project progresses through the final phases.

About the position

You’ll play a key role in managing RFIs, reviewing submittals, and tracking construction progress through walkthroughs and consultant/trade engagement. This position requires an individual who is highly organized, communicative, and confident in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operations of large mixed-use construction projects
  • Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors on outstanding scopes and design issues
  • Manage and track RFIs, submittals, drawings, and specifications reviews
  • Conduct site walkthroughs to assist with progress tracking and quality assurance
  • Assist in resolving construction issues through collaboration with field and office teams
  • Help document and support project turnover and closeout processes

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator or APM role within commercial or mixed-use construction
  • Proven ability to support mid-project takeovers or complex project coordination
  • Experience with drawing reviews, consultant coordination, and document management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation & benefits

  • Competitive salary: $75,000 – $100,000
  • Comprehensive medical & dental package, RRSP
  • Bonus: 5–10% annually
