The candidate should be a member of the Chambre des Notaires du Québec with 3–7 years in business law, including corporate and banking matters. Strong English/French writing and resilient, proactive work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Member of la chambre des notaires du Québec.
• 3–7 years of experience in business law, preferably in corporate and banking law, mergers & acquisitions, real estate law and financing.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent writing skills in English and French.
• Proactive, creative and quick learner.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and modify a variety of commercial agreements (NDAs, COIs, LOIs, Terms Sheets, Supply agreements, sub-contractor agreements, licenses).
• Provide legal expertise in real estate-related matters and financing.
• Organize and maintain documentation and records.
